The NCPA 2007 Book Awards will hold their yearly banquet on April 25, 2008, at Luau Gardens, 1890 Arden Way, Sacramento, 95815 (map), from 6-8 p.m. Entrants and one guest will come for free. All other members can attend by paying $15 per person at the door. Seating is limited, so come early.

There are 20 entries this year, and it will be an exciting night. Categories include: best book, best first book, best illustrated children’s book, best poetry, best juvenile/adult fiction, and best alternative media book. Under the design category, entrants can win for best interior text and images/graphics, best interior photos/photo layout, and best exterior hard or soft cover, among other designations.
