NCPA member, author, and Sacramento Bee columnist Carlos Alcalá will bring his over 20 years of newspaper journalistic experience to discuss how to field pitches from authors and publishers as well as the success he has had in the promotion of his own book through multiple newspapers, magazines, television, and radio programs. He’ll show us the simple uncomplicated pitch and the difficult process, because it takes work to the pitch well. Be sure to share this information with your friends and remind them that our meetings are open to all who wish to learn more about writing and publishing.
There is no charge to attend meetings, and guests are always welcome to come learn more about writing and publishing.
