The Pen and Press, NCPA’s newsletter, welcomes your submissions!
Send your articles and announcements to newsletter editor Ken Umbach. Please provide submissions in Microsoft Word (or compatible) format, with minimal formatting, or in plain text. To leave a phone message, call 916-733-2159, Ken’s voice mail number, at any time.
Always of greatest interest is news of our members – their books and other publications, activities, awards, and appearances. Also of special interest are articles by members focusing on what has worked for them in such areas as marketing, mechanics of publishing, and tips and techniques.
Photos of your signings and other events are welcome. Also welcome are images of new book covers. Please provide images in a standard format (jpeg or tiff, for example), and a file size that will not put too much of a strain on my dialup account.
All submissions are subject to editing. Selection of content is at the editor’s discretion.
